Why don't they listen?

Why is it that boys don't listen? This morning before school the boys (Crue, Reese an Tieg) were running around playing swords and I told them several time to stop because someone was going to get hurt..........and what do you think happened? Yep.....one of them got hurt and had to go to urgent care. Poor little Tieg ran into Crue and hit the tile floor face first, knocked out his already loose tooth and put a nasty cut on his upper lip. Luckily, it was on the inside so it did'nt need stitches but probably would have if it was on the outside. He just has a very bad cut and a big fat lip. Tieg said..."Mom, why does this always happen to me?" It's not the first and definitly not the last, but I just wish they would listen to me!

Then and Now...Pepper 1 year later!

We have now had our precious baby girl Pepper for 13 months. I can't believe how fast time goes by and how much they change in just one short year. As most of you know we were done having kids after our 4th boy Tieg who is now 5 and unexpectedly got pregnant with our little girl Pepper and now I can't imagine our family without her. She is such a fun, easy going, super smart little girl. She turned over at 3 months, starting scooting around at 4 months, crawling at 5 months and walking at 8 1/2 months and she is already saying words like mom, dad, baby, ball, binky, dog, kitty, juice, hi, bye and much more......I'm sure she will be talking in full sentences by 18 months. She is happy most all of the time and so friendly to everyone she meets, I love to dress her in pink and she already has a pretty good collection of shoes. She loves to play with her brothers and I have no doubt that she is going to be one tough little girl. We love her so much and though we have a house full, we wouldn't have it any other way!

My Tieg

Ithought I would post a little bit about Tieg, our 5 year old. For those of you that don't know....when he was 18 months old he was rushed to Seattle Childrens Hospital and recieved a blood transfusion and was diagnosed with Iron Deficient Anemia and we were told that he would have to take iron for 6 months but then he should be fine. We moved to Tucson and we thought that he was fine but a year later we noticed that he was getting a little pale and weak looking so we took him in to see a doctor and found that he was once again iron deficient and so for the past 2 1/2 years we have been trying to figure out why he is loosing blood, which is causing him to be iron deficient. We have seen allergist and GI doctors and had endoscopies and a colonoscopy and we have found out that he has alot of food allergies and he has been diagnosed with Esonophilic Esophogitus Disorder which is causing his bleeding in his GI Tract. Now the hard part is finding out exactly what foods that he is allergic to, whicn can be very difficult. He has been put on an elemental diet (liquid only) and we add 1 food in every 8 weeks and rescope to see if he has an allergic reaction to it.....so for right now he can have apples and pork. The hard thing is finding foods with other additives in them and that are all natural. I feel so bad for him, but I have to say he is such a good sport about it. He does have his moments when he is sad because his brothers and sister can eat whatever they want. The last scope he had we told him that he would get to add a food in after we got the results and he was ecited about that and asked if the food we added could be donuts......I wish! They tell us that some kids grow out of allergies and I hope and pray that is the case for Tieg and that someday soon he will be able to eat whatever he wants!

What to post?

What to post? My sister Denise set up my blog for me and made it all cute and showed me how to do stuff on it and now I don't know what to post.....I am not the best writer and I am not that interesting and definitly not as whitty and funny and my sisters, brother and sister in-law. So my dilema is....what to say!? Anyway...if anyting funny or interesting happens soon I will post or if anyone has any good suggestions on how to get started that would be great!
